6th Grade English/Language Arts with Mrs. Tucek

English/Language Arts at Buchanan Middle School covers Michigan's State Standards In Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, Listening, and Language.

Assignments will be through Amplify ELA digital and printed resources. Students will have an ELA folder to keep their classwork organized.

About Mrs. Tucek

I grew up on an apple farm in Bertrand Township, my parents still have their apple market on US 12 called D&S Apple House
I graduated from Buchanan High School in 1999
My children attend Buchanan Community Schools
I graduated with distinction in 2005 earning a Bachelor of Science in English Education from Indiana University South Bend
I have 4 dogs, 2 Papillons Buzz and Leah, and 2 Vizslas named Banner and Lenny
My favorite vacation is camping at Mears State Park in Pentwater, MI every summer (see the beautiful sunset)
I'm excited to be your Language Arts teacher and look forward to our year of learning!
